the Wind

This outdoor landscape—the first permanent structure in a public space by Acconci Studio—was created for the Munich architectural department's new home. Revolving rings in the ground level of the courtyard act as moving sculpture powered by a wind power plant on top of the building's tower. The earth shifts in a circular motion that breaks from and then returns to design of plane.
