This proposed house is gently inserted into the landscape of the island, taking advantage of the sloped contours and optimizing views of Katama Bay. The massing of the house as a reverse “S” oriented to the south-east affords views creates a flow which accommodates three families, allowing for privacy and flexilibility in a mutli-family vacation home. This unique configuration has all volumes connected at ground level, which stepped down to embrace the site contours, while the upper volumes are independent.
