The renovation of the New York residence of Alexandra Munroe, the Director of the Japan Society Gallery. The design features a gallery with an abstract Tokonoma display area, a library for a dense, expanding collection with a double layer of bookshelves, customized furniture, an elaborate limestone bath, and a half-bath with natural lighting and a hinoki wood shower.
